We switched gears a little for the first week of October and went to St. Louis for a disaster conference at the LCMS International Center.
The trip also allowed us to do a quick event at Concordia Seminary. We did a small pot of jambalaya for 300 on the campus and fed the students and staff on Tuesday.
The conference started on Wednesday and we volunteered to cook for the conference and the staff at the IC.
We were headed home by Friday morning after being able to do a short presentation about our work. We are truly thankful to be able to do what we love doing.
