Lafitte, Louisiana

Much like last week, our adventure on Friday took us to a small community south of New Orleans called Lafitte.

This deployment was to help feed and supply a small Native American tribe on the bayou.

A simple menu today of chicken and sausage jambalaya with a vegetable medley, Hawaiian rolls, fruit cups and cookies.

Many thanks to the local LWML zone for providing a generous donation of supplies to help this community. We can also thank President Eric Johnson of the Southern District LCMS for gift cards and cash that was donated to those in need .
