Yesterday we had the opportunity to help the Slidell animal shelter raise money for their work.
In partnership with a couple of Walmart Neighborhood market stores and The Village Church Lutheran, we were able to raise over seven thousand dollars!
This is such a blessing and what I had always envisioned for us to do with our equipment when we were not using it for disaster relief work.
Speaking of that, the recent devastation in Mississippi. We are not headed up there now. Our contacts on the scene there have asked us to get with them in a few weeks. Currently there are multiple teams in the Rolling Forks area cooking now. So stay tuned for more updates.
