I am not talking about our local NFL team, no… I am speaking of the real saints of Southwest Louisiana, the members of St. John Lutheran Church in Lake Charles and Trinity Lutheran church in Sulphur.
A few years back when multiple hurricanes destroyed their communities, we were fortunate enough to be able to make weekly trips over to cook for these communities. To this day, the friendships we made continue.
What a blessing it is to have those friendships! Today I would like to thank the Pastor Charlie Miller from St. John and Butch Tinker from Trinity for their continued support of our work. I hope you both realize the impact that you have made on our work.
