About

Paul and Peggy Ernewein

Rev. Paul Ernewein

Thank you for visiting our site today.

I am a second career Lutheran minister serving The Village Church in Lacombe Louisiana. Over twenty years ago I found and then developed a passion for cooking and serving people. Along with my wife Peggy, we have strived to serve people our delicious Louisiana style cooking. This all started because of our love for our Lord and Savior Jesus and a small cast iron pot!

How we got started

It all started with a pot while I attended Concordia Seminary in St. Louis.

It was our way of giving back to a great institution.

How it all started with a small 20 gallon pot

As you can tell, the pots have grown!

Our 90 gallon pot now

We now are able to serve 1000 meals with two of these massive pots. We are very fortunate to be able to serve in this capacity.

We have upgraded when it comes to cast iron cooking… This is our 90 gallon pot
