Hurricane Ida, Houma
On Saturday we ventured further south to the town of Houma. Houma was in the direct path of the hurricane and you could tell by the shear destruction it was a brutal storm for this area. Des Allemands Saint Gertrude
Saturday morning we hit the road to help our neighbors south of us. Des Allemands suffered significant damage as hurricane Ida tracked inland. We were thankful to serve this community. We served over 2200 meals on Saturday. Thank you for your continued support for our work
Hurricane Ida September 9th
East Jefferson Hospital A second team led by Danny Hall cooked and served the employees of East Jefferson Hospital. We served the staff there, chicken leg quarters, boiled potatoes and corn. Another no complaint day! We are truly blessed

Another great day to serve the community of Lacombe. We called it Taco/Fajitas Tuesday! Another day of serving 1000 meals Today we cooked and platted the meals and delivered them to a local drop off point. Chicken, flour tortillas, Spanish rice, corn, and cookies A feast of flavor!
