GUIDING THE MISSION:

Board of Directors Update

As we move into 2026, we are proud to announce that we have two new Board Members to introduce to you.

But before we do that, we must thank our outgoing Board Member, Rev. Charles Truax. Pastor Charlie has served on our Board since the inception of FBF and has been a valuable part of our team. He is stepping back from serving on our Board but continues to be one of our greatest supporters. We are thankful for his service and his ministry.

God has blessed us with two new team members—Marcus Cook and Amanda Walker—joining us this year.

I have had the privilege of knowing Marcus for over ten years. We first met while competing in Ironman races. Anyone who has trained for one of those events knows this. You learn a great deal about a person in the process. Marcus brings with him a unique perspective on both life and business. We are grateful to welcome that strength and insight to our Forged by Fire team.

I had the pleasure of meeting Amanda this past summer. I was immediately impressed by her remarkable background. She helped launch the Lutheran Federal Credit Union from the ground up. Amanda brings valuable experience from her time with a national restaurant chain. She assisted in establishing new franchise locations. As Forged by Fire continues to grow, her expertise will be an incredible asset to our team. She excels in building and expanding organizations.

Our other three Board Members—Barbara Crozier, Cathy Newman, and Steve Borderlon—remain faithful in their service. We are truly blessed to have a Board who believes in the vision and mission of Forged by Fire. We look forward to the future as we build on what we started. We will expand our outreach opportunities to better serve those in need.
